Construction of the building is nearly complete!
Remaining tasks include installation of tracks and pouring of the floor and perimeter walkways. The Association recently received a grant from the Town of Milton Community Fund for the floor and walkways, so all that remains is the track! $20,000 is required for track material and labour, $10,000 of which we already have. Once we receive the balance, we can build all the tracks and finish the floor. The work is scheduled for September and October 2009. November will be spent moving our historic railcars inside their new home. After nearly 25 years of planning, the project is nearly complete! For regular construction updates click here.
