Events 2013

The Halton County Radial Railway has a number of events and happenings throughout its operating season. Fun for the whole family!

Railway Quest
– Saturday, June 15
Test how much you know about streetcars and museum! Venture around the museum to answer the list of questions about the display cars, barns, or the East End Loop. The winner with the most correct answers will win a prize! Bring the family and see how much you know (or learned) during the Quest.

Family Day
– Saturday, July 13
Join us for a fun day for the whole family! Games, prizes, food and more.

Ice Cream & Starlight
– Saturday, August 10, 7pm-11pm
Visitors are romanced under the stars and lights during this popular event as they ride the rails and enjoy hand-scooped ice cream.

Halloween Spooktacular
– Saturday, October 19 & Saturday, October 26, 6:30pm-10pm
All ages event! Walk through the haunted car barn and travel in the old, creaky streetcars along the mainline and enjoy some hot apple cider & scary snacks. If you’re a Halloween fan this is definitely a spooky experience not to be missed! Costumes encouraged. Reservations not required. Tickets sold at the door.

Christmas on the Rails
– Saturday, December 7 & Saturday, December 14, 1pm-8pm
Ride into the holiday season with us! We’re opening our doors one last time until the spring for a unique seasonal experience. There’s nothing like riding the rails through the woods with snow on the trees and Christmas carols in the air.
